Financial penalties account for approximately 70 percent of all Crown and Magistrate Court sentences. Efficient collection is therefore paramount, and we ensure a quick turnaround on all accounts passed to us.
We take prompt and effective action against defaulters, and usually begin enforcement procedures within 24 hours of receiving instructions.
Our bailiffs undertake periodic specialist training via our dedicated training academy (the first and only one of its kind) to ensure up to date knowledge of current legislation and its powers.
Bailiffs make every effort to obtain full and final payment on the first visit. If full payment cannot be obtained, the bailiff may remove goods to the value of the debt.
Depending on the debtor’s personal and financial circumstances, the bailiff may accept a short-term payment arrangement, subject to guidelines and parameters agreed with the court.
As well as providing enforcement and collection services, we can also help with execution of arrest warrants anywhere within the UK.
