Philips adds DVLA to its Portfolio
Philips Collection Services Ltd has added to its impressive portfolio of recent business gains by winning a new contract with the DVLA. Philips particularly impressed the DVLA with its innovative use of technology and the automated telephone systems which is successfully used by more than 80% of those paying.
The business offers all its clients their own secure area on its website and provides electronic reports uploaded to the client’s site. The ability to resource up and to deal with large volumes of work is one of Philips’ key commitments and with a client such as the DVLA which issues around 100,000 instructions per month such capacity is considered vital.
Just a couple of months into the contract the initial signs are good and the system is running smoothly. Jayne Clark, Publicity Manager for Enforcement within The Policy and External Communications Department, DVLA comments, “Philips were awarded the contract for one of the best tenders submitted. The contract has been running for just over two months and we are happy with all aspects of their performance to date.&rdquo
