Philips are Chosen by Stroud District Council Chooses in Pursuit of Best Ever Recovery Rates
Stroud District Council has chosen Philips Collection Services after a tender process to work on its Former Tenant Arrears (FTA) and Sundry Debt recovery programme.
The authority is committed to a target recovery rate in excess of 98.57%. In assessing the most efficient way of achieving this, Kevin Topping, the Principal Rents Officer, and his team had to take into account the sheer volume of work required and also the range of activities, from Current Tenant Arrears and Sundry Debt to Management Fees and FTA.“We believe that outsourcing FTA and Sundry Debt will enable us to prioritise our time better and focus on our targets” says Kev Topping. “The authority is committed to reducing all debts owed to the council, of which, overall Rent Arrears are one of the largest”.
Philips Collection Services are now the largest privately owned revenue recovery and enforcement company in the UK and the win in Stroud is the latest in an impressive series of Local Authority tender successes for the organisation.
