Philips appointed at Doncaster
Philips Collection Services has been awarded a major contract with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC) for debt recovery and enforcement services, which commenced in December 2008.
Philips topped the list in the tender process, scoring especially well on cost-effectiveness, resources and proven expertise in the field.
Together with the Council, Philips is intent on maximising the recovery of unpaid debt and the authority sees this as part of its mission to the council tax payers in the Borough.
Philips Collection Services is helping to achieve this with a system that refers cases promptly with online real-time access to officers in the Council to check on progress and update cases.
The company has established a growing reputation for its service levels and innovative technology and is looking forward to working with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council alongside the in-house Parking, Sundry Debtor, Financial Services and Overpayments Team in the Benefits Section.
